Behind Urban Rainbow Learning Foundation is a mother of five who understands firsthand how difficult it can be to balance raising a family, working, and making ends meet.
As a mother, I know what it feels like to earn just enough on paper to be considered above the income limit for childcare assistance, yet still struggle to afford the cost of quality childcare. Being told that your household earns too much to qualify for help doesn’t always mean you can comfortably afford the things your family needs. There are many working families caught in that gap, earning too much to qualify for assistance but not enough to make childcare financially manageable.
That experience is a big part of what inspired me to create this Foundation. I believe families shouldn’t have to choose between working, providing for their household, and accessing quality care for their children.
My passion for early childhood education, combined with my experience as an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, has also strengthened my commitment to helping families and caregivers feel supported, prepared, and empowered.
Through Urban Rainbow Learning Foundation, my goal is to help make affordable infant and toddler care more accessible, expand access to CPR and First Aid education, and create meaningful opportunities for families who are often overlooked.
I started this Foundation because I know that sometimes what a family needs most isn’t a handout or a lecture. It’s an opportunity, a little support, and someone who understands.
Because every family deserves the opportunity to thrive!
